Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant revealed word of God and is the full and final authority on faith and life (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe that the one God, who created the world, is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (2 Thes 2:13-14, 1 Peter 1:2, Col 1:16).

We believe that Jesus was conceived by Holy Spirit (Matt 1:20), was born of the virgin Mary (Matt 1:25), lived without sin (1 Pet 2:22), was both fully man and fully God (2 John 7), died on the cross (Luke 23:44), was raised to life (Luke 24:1-3), ascended into heaven (Luke 24:51), intercedes before God on our behalf (Heb 10:19-21), presently rules as Lord of all (Heb 1:3) and will personally return in glory (Acts 1:11).

We believe in the universality of sin and humanity’s inability to save itself from condemnation (Romans 3:9, 23).

We believe that salvation from condemnation and the power of sin is only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ (1 Pet 1:18-20, Matt 1:21).

We believe that the True Church consists of all those who have faith in Jesus and is God’s instrument for uniting believers and proclaiming the Gospel (Eph 2:19-22; 3:6,10).

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells (Gal 4:6) and gives life to all believers (John 5:5-8), enables them to understand and apply the Scriptures (John 16:13-14), empowers them for godly living (Gal 5:16-18) and gifts them to serve the Church and witness to the world (1 Cor 12:4-11).

We believe that God will welcome the redeemed into heaven, a place of everlasting joy (John 14:1-3), and that all who reject the truth will be banished into hell, a place of endless misery (2 Thes 1:7-9, Matt 8:12).
